- Description: Sold by Leitner Designs, the Active Cargo System mounts on Jeep Gladiator equipped with 5.0-foot bed and Trail Rail System with no-drill installation. Not compatible with Ram Box or 60/40 Multifuction Tailgate. Includes two gear pods to provide locking, water-resistant storage. The system features extreme load carrying capability due to its single-piece aluminum alloy uprights and custom alloy steel fasteners. Additional features include a sliding load bar which allows you to load large items with a twist of a knob, custom fasteners coated with tough black Zinc-Nickel coating with bolts precoated with Loctite to prevent loosening under extreme vibration. The system weighs 85 lbs. and is 23 inches tall when measured from top of the bed caps. The load bars are heavy Duty 2.0-inch square bars and feature rubber wind diffuser load pads to keep your cargo from shifting. The quad-rail load beam design allows for endless mounting options and fits many Thule and Yakima accessories. The off-road dynamic weight capacity is 400 lbs, the on-road dynamic weight capacity is 800 lbs and the parked static weight capacity is 1,400 lbs.
